    Monuments:


    Alcazar,the cathedral,casa domecq, cabldo,la cartuja atr the monuments in jerez.The Alcazar belongs to the fortified 4000m long surrounding wall erected by the Almohades in the 12C, the remains of which are still visible in the streets.The facade is a play of concave and convex surfaces flanked by two towers topped by small temples, resembling two astronomical observatories.The façade of the palace is one of the most amazing in Jerez. There are 2 doorways, the one on the left is in two parts separated by a fine wrought-iron balcony on which the letters of the name Davila appear.

    Beaches:


    There is no doubt that one of the main natural resources of the province of Cádiz is its great variety of beaches. These are characterised by a white fine sand and transparent water. Along the 260 kms of coast, you can find both virgin and urban beaches with infrastructure, small creeks or extensive sandy beaches ranging several kilometres, familiar and intimate beaches, quiet and windy beaches for those who love windsurf. Many of these obtain every year the Blue Flag distinction of the clean European seas.
    El Puerto de Santa María, Chipiona,Costa Ballena, Rota , Cádiz city are the famous beaches of the jerez.

    Museums:


    There are numerous cultural attractions available in and around Jerez de la Frontera, which various museums, theaters, art galleries, and a Mosque with Arabic baths. The Mosque, Alcazar, and Arab Baths are unique and interesting places to visit. The area is open to the public throughout the year, seven days a week (Mon to Sat 10am to 8pm, Sun 10am to 3pm), and guided tours are available for those that call in advance. The Bull Fight Museum in Jerez de la Frontera is a fun place to visit.

Each of the many different cultures that have settled here over the past few centuries have had an enormous influence upon the physical appearance of Jerez and numerous archaeological remains which bear witness to the fact can still be seen, both in the surrounding countryside and within the city itself. Archaeological remains from the Phoenician Xera, the strongly Roman Ceret, and the important Muslim Sherish, merge with the beauty of the later Christian buildings to offer a wide range of architectural styles and distinctive edifices which all combine to give Jerez a truly individual urban physiognomy of great beauty.
